New champions have been crowned at the Tennis Europe Junior Masters, which was hosted by the Monegasque Tennis Federation at the Monte-Carlo Country Club from 2-5 November.
The event sees the top boys and girls aged 14 and 16 & Under end their Junior Tour seasons by competing against each other in an elite competition at one of the world’s most iconic tennis venues.

2023 Edition
- In 2023, the 32 competitors combined to win 1,490 matches on Tour, including 65 singles titles
- The eight finalists represented eight different Tennis Europe member nations
- The tournament was a pilot ‘green’ tournament, implementing a range of sustainability measures. Tennis Europe partners Dunlop will re-use all balls used during the event, while Waterdrop donated reusable water bottles to all players, coaches, officials and staff in a drive to reduce the use of single-use plastics
- The event was broadcast live on tenniseurope.org, the Junior Tour app, Monaco national television and on the Tennis Channel
- Four players – Barbara Kostecka (POL), Daniel Jade (FRA), Sofie Hettlerova (CZE) and Jan Sadzik (POL) were selected by representatives from the Athlete Performance Center in Salzburg, Austria to receive a one-week stay with their coach, aimed at maximising their potential and performance
The Winners
- Each of the four champions receives a complimentary one-week stay in 2024 at the Mouratoglou Academy
- 14 & Under winner Jana Kovackova is the younger sister of last year’s 16 & Under champion Alena. They become the first siblings to win Masters titles
- The win marks her fourth Junior Tour title of the season, from eight finals
- 14 & Under boys’ winner Daniel Jade excelled at major events this year, anchoring the French team to Summer Cups triumph, claiming the Cat.1 Open Stade Français title, and runner-up at Les Petits As and the European Championships
- 16&U boys’ champion Kolos Kincses will end the season as #1 on the Race to Masters rankings, having claimed three titles
- Jeline Vandromme is the first Belgian champion since former world #1 Kim Clijsters in 1997, and is the first girl to win Tennis Europe’s two premier 16 & Under events – the European Championships and Junior Masters – in the same season since 2012
- Other former Junior Masters champions include Rafa Nadal, Alexander Zverev and Belinda Bencic
