STARNBERG, February 12, 2024

There will be three ATP Tour events this week on three different continents with plenty of hardware at stake.

Reigning Australian Open champion Jannik Sinner of Italy leads the way at the ABN AMRO Open, the first ATP 500 event of the season being held in Rotterdam, Netherlands, where Andrey Rublev of Russia and Danish youngster Holger Rune will also be in action.

Sinner will take on home Botic van den Zandschulp in the first round. Rublev will start his title bid against Belgian qualifier Zizou Bergs and No. 3 seed Rune plays Roman Safiullin from Russia in the first round at Ahoy Arena.

Alcaraz top seed in Buenos Aires

Carlos Alcaraz is the top seed at the IEB+ Argentina Open. The 20-year-old Spaniard is the defending champion at the ATP 250 clay-court event in Buenos Aires. After a first-round bye, Alcaraz awaits the winner of the encounter between Juan Pablo Varillas of Peru and a qualifier.

The World No. 2 will be wary of a strong field competing however, one that includes Briton Cameron Norrie, Nicolas Jarry of Chile, #NextGenATP Frenchman Arthur Fils and home favourite Francisco Cerundolo.

American hard-court swing continues in Delray Beach

US-Americans Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe lead the field at the Delray Beach Open, an ATP 250 hard-court event.

The World No. 9 and defending champion Fritz is chasing his seventh ATP Tour crown in Florida, where French veteran Adrian Mannarino, Daniel Evans from Great Britain and #NextGenATP star Shang Juncheng from China will also feature at the Delray Beach Stadium & Tennis Center.
