A new multi-episode YouTube series produced by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) launches today, giving viewers a unique insight into the daily routine of the game’s top junior players from across the world.
The ITF’s ‘Day in the Life’ series will give viewers a courtside seat as the game’s future stars strive to progress along the ITF Player Pathway to the top of the game.
Austrian world Junior No.1 Joel Schwaerzler features in the first episode, which is available to watch on the ITF YouTube channel from today.
Schwaerzler enjoyed an impressive 2023 season which culminated in him winning the ITF World Tennis Tour Junior Finals in Chengdu. In March, the 18-year-old reached his first ITF World Tennis Tour Men’s final at M15 Antalya.
ITF Day in the Life, episode one goes behind the scenes with the 18-year-old, taking a closer look at his daily routine and how he works with his team to develop his game. He also shows viewers how he relaxes outside of tennis.
Episode two of the series will feature Slovakia’s Renata Jamrichova, who is currently ranked No. 1 in the ITF World Tennis Tour girls’ rankings and is the reigning Australian Open girls’ champion.
In recent weeks, the 16-year-old has represented her nation in the 2024 Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge Qualifiers and won two ITF World Tennis Tour Women’s titles.
