HEILBRONN, June 1, 2024
The ATP Challenger Tour is back in Heilbronn, Germany for the 10th edition of the award-winning NECKARCUP. This year’s tournament promises again to deliver high-quality tennis and intense competition.
World No. 83 Daniel Altmaier is the top seed of the €120,950 clay-court event being held at the Tennis Club Trappensee. The 2022 NECKARCUP champion will take on fellow German wild-card entry Marko Topo in the first round.
Home favourite Yannick Hanfmann leads the bottom half of the draw. The No. 2 seed will start his title bid against Koblenz native Jan Choinski, who represents Great Britain. Third-seeded Indian Sumit Nagal as well as fourth favourite Maximilian Marterer of Germany will both face a qualifier in the opening round.
The tennis action starts on Sunday with the qualifying.
