Mitchell Krueger from the United States has claimed the title of the $82,000 UAMS Health Little Rock Open. The No. 6 seed of the ATP Challenger Tour 75 hard-court event in Arkansas beat Yuta Shimizu of Japan 6-3, 6-4 in Sunday’s singles final.
Krueger converted three of his four break-point chances and won 58 per cent of the total points played to seal victory in one hour and 19 minutes.

“It was a tough week with tough conditions but I am glad to got the win today,” said Krueger.
The 30-year-old Krueger clinched his fifth ATP Challenger Tour career title, his second of the season following his triumph on home soil at the Southern California Open at Indian Wells in January. The World No. 251 earned a prize purse of $11,200 as well as 75 ATP Ranking points.
