Harris To Take On Riedi For Surbiton Trophy

South Africa’s Lloyd Harris will play Switzerland’s Leandro Riedi in the singles final of the Lexus Surbiton Trophy, the first ATP Challenger Tour tournament of the season being held on grass.

Harris fought past US-American Brandon Nakashima 6-4, 3-6, 6-1 in one one hour and 26 minutes on Saturday. Riedi needed the same match time to prevail 6-4, 6-4 over British wild card entry Billy Harris.

Great Britain’s Julian Cash and his partner Robert Galloway from the United States took the doubles title with a 6-4, 6-4 victory against Colombia’s Nicolas Barrientos and Ecuador’s Diego Hidalgo. Cash and Golloway earned their third team title of the season following their triumphs at the Delray Beach Open ATP 250 event and the Challenger in Bordeaux.

The women’s singles final of the ITF World Tennis Tour event will be between 2022 Lexus Surbiton Trophy winner Alison Van Uytvanck from Belgium and Germany’s Tatjana Maria and will start at 11am on Sunday, with the men’s final starting not before 2pm.
