With the start of the 55th edition of the Mubadala Citi DC Open – the fifth largest professional tennis event in the United States and the only combined ATP-WTA 500 level tennis tournament in the world – less than a week away, the tournament announced its main draw wild cards on Wednesday.

The Mubadala Citi DC Open has awarded main draw wild cards to World No. 9 Andrey Rublev of Russia, 2021 US Open champion Emma Raducanu of Great Britain, former World No. 2 Paula Badosa of Spain, 2021 Wimbledon semifinalist and 2022 Australian Open quarterfinalist Denis Shapovalov of Canada, four-time ATP champion Reilly Opelka of the United States, and Washington, D.C. natives and teenagers Robin Montgomery and Clervie Ngounoue.

Two additional ATP main draw wild cards will be announced before the start of the tournament.

The Mubadala Citi DC Open will take place from July 27 to August 4 at the William H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center in Rock Creek Park, in the nation’s capital city.

The Mubadala Citi DC Open is sold out for a fourth straight year. Every ticket for all 11 sessions of the tournament has been sold before the gates open for this year’s event, setting a new tournament record. Outer court passes for this year’s tournament are currently available and start at $22.

An outer court pass allows fans access to all outer court matches as well as entertainment around the grounds. In addition to watching top players practice, all tournament attendees will have access to daily autograph sessions and tennis talks, too.
