POREC, March 15, 2025
Mili Poljicak and Emanuel Ivanisevic triumphed in an all-Croatian final, defeating Karlo Kajin and Deni Zmak 6-3, 3-6, 10-5 to claim the doubles trophy at the Istarska Rivijera ITF World Tennis Tour M15 tournament in Porec, the first of three events in the 53rd edition of Croatia’s oldest tournament series.
For 20-year-old Poljicak, the 2022 Junior Wimbledon champion, and 17-year-old Ivanisevic, son of the renowned 2001 Wimbledon winner Goran, this was their first tournament together, and they immediately crowned it with a title. In a high-quality final, 25-year-old Kajin and 35-year-old Zmak put up strong resistance, but the winners were slightly better in the decisive tie-break.
This marks Emanuel Ivanisevic’s first senior title, while Poljicak secured his 12th title on the ITF World Tennis Tour. Additionally, Poljicak already holds a doubles trophy from this year’s ATP Challenger in Oeiras, where he partnered with Matej Sabanov.
With his victory in Porec, the Split native has now completed a full set of doubles titles at the Istarska Rivijera, having won in Rovinj and Opatija last year with his fellow townsman Luka Mikrut.

“This is, I don’t even know which number, another doubles title for me. It was a good week in singles too—I reached the semifinals. Overall, I’m satisfied. This was preparation for the Challenger in Zadar next week, where I hope to achieve a good result. Emanuel won his first title, and I’m glad I was part of it. I hope it won’t be his last,” said Poljicak, who on Saturday came just one set short of reaching the singles final.
“I want to thank Mili for even playing with me because, without him, I wouldn’t have made it far. I’m really happy to have won this title,” said Ivanisevic.
Kajin and Zmak reached a doubles final for the first time as a pair.
“It’s been a good week for us. Unfortunately, we lost in the final. Luckily, there are three consecutive tournaments, so we hope for good results in the coming weeks,” said Kajin.
“There’s a bit of a bitter taste since we didn’t manage to win the title, but it was a good final match, and we congratulate the winners,” added Zmak.
