Vit Kopriva won twice on Sunday to capture the Napoli Tennis Cup title, outlasting top seed Luciano Darderi 3-6, 6-3, 7-6(4) in the championship match. The 27-year-old Czech captured his sixth ATP Challenger Tour career title, his first of the season.
Kopriva edged past Italian qualifier Andrea Pellegrino 7-5, 6-3 in the semis to book a date with the World No. 61. Darderi rallied from a set down to overcome Dalibor Svrcina from the Czech Republic 1-6, 6-2, 7-5. Both matches were postponed To Sunday after persistent rain in Naples on Saturday.
In a close with only with one service loss on both sides, Kopriva won one point more than Darderi to secure victory in two hours and 27 minutes. The World No. 122 pocketed €25,740 in prize money as well as 125 ATP Ranking points.

Erler/Frantzen triumph in doubles
In other action, Andreas Erler of Austria and Constantin Frantzen from Germany earned the doubles title. The top seeds beat the all-French combination of Geoffrey Blancaneaux and Albano Olivetti 6-4, 6-4 in one hour and 13 minutes.
It has been the first team title for Erler and Frantzen since winning the Ismaning Open ITF Futures event in Germany on carpet in 2015. They split €9,010 in prize money and collected 125 ATP Doubles Ranking points.
The second edition of the Napoli Tennis Cup offered a total prize purse of €181,250 and was held at the Tennis Club Napoli.
