Lautaro Midon has clinched the title of the ITF World Tennis Tour M25 tournament in Lujan, Argentina. The top seed of the clay-court event defeated fellow Argentine and No. 7 seed Mariano Kestelboim 6-3, 6-1 in Sunday’s singles final.
Midon capitalized on six of his 10 break-point chances to prevail after one hour and 29 minutes.

“When the year started, we set a goal to play in next year’s Australian Open, meaning finishing among the world’s top 230 to enter the qualifiers. But lately, I’ve been feeling better; I made some changes that are showing on the court, and the numbers are getting closer,” explained the World No. 326 afterwards.
Midon claimed his sixth career title on the ITF World Tennis Tour, his second of the season following his triumph on home soil at Yerba Buena in early March.
