Santiago Rodriguez Taverna has clinched the title of the ITF M25 Chacabuco. The No. 2 seed of the ITF World Tennis Tour clay-court tournament in Argentina emerged victorious from the all-Argentine singles final, beating sixth favourite Juan Manuel La Serna 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 on Sunday.

Rodriguez Taverna won 61 per cent of his first-service points and broke his compatriot six times to succeed in two hours and 18 minutes.

The 25-year-old Buenos Aires native captured his seventh career title on the ITF Pro Circuit. It has been his first triumph since April 2022.
