Good Friday brought a full day of tennis at the Sao Leo Open 2026, as the singles semifinals and doubles final were decided in front of a strong crowd at Sao Leopoldo Tenis Clube.
Brazil’s Paulo Saraiva dos Santos continued his dream run by defeating Bolivia’s Murkel Dellien 6-4, 6-2 to reach the first ATP Challenger semifinal of his career. Gustavo Heide also booked his place in the last four with an impressive display, overpowering Argentina’s Juan Manuel La Serna 6-1, 6-1 in a high-quality performance, lasting only 66 minutes.
Saraiva dos Santos will now take on seventh-seeded Argentine Facundo Diaz Acosta, who rallied past Peruvian qualifier Conner Huertas del Pino, 4-6, 6-1, 6-4. Heide will oppose second-seeded Bolivian Hugo Dellien, who defeated No. 6 seed Luca Midon of Argentina 7-6(6), 6-1.

In the doubles competition, Bolivia’s Boris Arias and Denmark’s Johannes Ingildsen will face Spain’s Nicolas Alvarez Varona and Mario Mansilla Diez in the final.
