From May 11 to 17, the Copa Faulconbridge will mark a historic milestone as it steps up to ATP Challenger 175 level, bringing one of the strongest player fields ever assembled at the Club de Tenis Valencia.

Leading the entry list are two of the most exciting young names on the tour: Czech standout Jakub Mensik and US-American Brandon Nakashima, the 2022 Next Gen ATP Finals champion. They are joined by proven Top 50 performers such as Jaume Munar and Alejandro Tabilo, ensuring a high level of competition from the opening rounds.

The depth of the draw is one of the defining features of this year’s edition. Frenchman Sebastian Baez, consistent Serbia’s Miomir Kecmanovic, and veterans Marton Fucsovics of Hungary and Jan-Lennard Struff from Germany all add quality and experience. Among the standout names is Matteo Berrettini, a former Wimbledon Championships finalist and one of the most recognizable figures on the tour.

Spanish tennis will be strongly represented, headlined by Roberto Bautista Agut, whose appearance carries special significance as he prepares to retire at the end of the 2026 season. He will be joined by Pablo Carreno Busta, an Olympic medalist and former Top 10 player, as well as rising talent Martin Landaluce.

A number of in-form players complete the impressive line-up, including Zizou Bergs, Mariano Navone, Camilo Ugo Carabelli, and Daniel Altmaier, all of whom have made their mark on clay in recent months.

The tournament will also feature an emotional moment for the home crowd, as Valencia’s own Bernabe Zapata Miralles has been awarded a wildcard and will use the occasion to bring his professional career to a close. Competing in front of his home fans, his farewell adds a special dimension to an already standout event.

With its blend of emerging stars, established champions, and meaningful storylines, the 2026 Copa Faulconbridge is set to become one of the premier stops on the ATP Challenger calendar, making Valencia a must-visit destination for tennis fans.
