Alexander Bublik will finally take to the courts in Mallorca. The Vanda Pharmaceuticals Mallorca Championships announced today that the Kazakh star is confirmed for the ATP 250 event, scheduled from 20 to 27 June at the Mallorca Country Club.
Bublik had been part of the entry list in 2023 but was forced to withdraw on site after a taxing run that culminated in the ATP title in Halle just days earlier. Three years on, and fully committed to the grass‑court swing, the 28‑year‑old is ready to make his competitive debut on the island: “I’m really looking forward to finally playing in Mallorca,” said Bublik. “Being there in 2023 and seeing the courts already whet my appetite for this tournament. Now I’m very keen to get there.”
The Vanda Pharmaceuticals Mallorca Championships are staged on Wimbledon‑certified grass courts at Mallorca Country Club in Santa Ponça and remain the only ATP grass‑court tournament in southern Europe.
Tournament Director Toni Nadal welcomed the confirmation of one of the tour’s most distinctive talents: “Alexander is among the most exciting players on the ATP Tour. We are delighted that he will finally compete in Mallorca.”
Bublik’s participation further enhances a strong field for the 2026 edition. The tournament has already confirmed Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, Frances Tiafoe, Nick Kyrgios, Yannick Hanfmann and Jan‑Lennard Struff, underlining the event’s growing status within the grass‑court season.
