Buvaysar Gadamauri has captured the title of the Shymkent Challenger 2. The 25-year-old Belgian defeated Indian teenager Manas Dhamne 7-6(6), 6-4 in Sunday’s singles final.
Gadamauri advanced to the title match of the ATP Challenger 50 clay-court event in Kazakhstan with wins in the top half of the draw over Viktor Durasovic from Norway, fourth-seeded Bulgarian Dimitar Kuzmanov, No. 5 seed Mili Poljcak of Croatia and top seed Edas Butivilas from Lithuania.
The world No. 357 capitalized on five of his nine break-point chances in the final and won one point more than the 18-year-old to secure victory in one hour and 50 minutes.

By lifting his maiden trophy on the ATP Challenger Tour, Gadamauri collected $9,500 in prize money as well as 50 ATP Ranking points.
