The Copa Faulconbridge took center stage last Saturday in the Fan Zone of the La Liga clash between Villarreal CF and Levante UD at the Estadio de la Cerámica, as part of a promotional campaign for the upcoming ATP Challenger 175 tournament.
The clay-court event, set to take place from May 11 to 17 at the Club de Tenis Valencia, was highlighted through a special activation that brought together football and tennis. Villarreal ambassador Marcos Senna and former professional tennis player as well as tournament director Daniel Gimeno Traver met fans and posed alongside the Faulconbridge Cup, symbolizing the strong connection between the two sports and the shared effort to promote the prestigious event.
This year’s edition of the tournament is set to feature notable local stars, including Roberto Bautista Agut and Bernabe Zapata Miralles, both of whom have announced that they will retire later this year, adding further significance to their participation.
