Bautista Torres Wins M25 Villa Maria Title

Juan Bautista Torres of Argentina captured the M25 Villa Maria title after defeating his compatriot Gonzalo Villanueva 6-2, 7-5 in Sunday’s singles final. Bautista Torres only lost two sets en route to the championship match. The victory marks his first title since August 2024.

It is the sixth ITF World Tennis Tour title of Torres’ career, adding to the two ATP Challenger trophies he has already won on the professional circuit in Troyes, France 2022 and Dobrich, Bulgaria 2025.

With the triumph on home soil in Villa Maria, the 24-year-old Argentine climbs back into the Top 300 of the ATP Rankings and currently sits at No. 288 in the live rankings.
