VALENCIA, May 17, 2026

The 2026 Copa Faulconbridge came to a successful conclusion on Sunday at the Club de Tenis Valencia, where Miomir Kecmanovic claimed the singles title of the ATP Challenger 175 event after defeating Daniel Vallejo from Paraguay 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 in an intense final played in front of a packed Centre Court.

Kecmanovic confirmed his status as one of the tournament favourites with a composed and highly consistent performance from the baseline, relying on his experience during the key moments of the match.

The seventh-seeded Serbian controlled the opening set from the start, minimizing errors and dictating the rhythm of play to secure the first set 6-2.

Vallejo, however, once again demonstrated the fighting spirit that made him one of the breakout players of the week in Valencia. The 22-year-old Paraguayan raised his level significantly in the second set, playing with greater aggression and depth from the baseline to level the final with a 6-3 response.

With the title on the line, Kecmanovic regained control in the deciding set. The Belgrade native served with authority and proved especially solid during the longer rallies, quickly opening a decisive advantage before sealing the victory 6-2 after one hour and 55 minutes.

Frantzen/Haase triumph in doubles

The doubles title went to Constantin Frantzen and Robin Haase, who defeated the all-Dutch combination of Sander Arends and David Pel 4-6, 7-6(5), 11-9 in a thrilling and closely contested final.

The match lived up to expectations from the very first game, with both teams producing excellent clay-court tennis. Arends and Pel made the stronger start and captured the opening set 6-4 by capitalizing on small details during the decisive moments.

Frantzen and Haase responded impressively in the second set, raising the intensity and becoming increasingly aggressive at the net. The set remained extremely tight and eventually required a tie-break, where the German-Dutch pairing forced a deciding match tie-break.

The final stages of the match delivered high drama, featuring spectacular rallies and constant momentum swings. In the end, Frantzen and Haase edged the super tie-break 11-9 to secure the doubles crown after two hours and five minutes.

Frantzen and Haase captured their first team title of the season. They split €11,300 in prize money and collected 175 ATP Doubles Ranking points.
