The Emilia-Romagna Tennis Cup is set to return to Parma, bringing world-class tennis back to the region from Sunday 14 to Saturday 20 June. Now in its fifth edition, the ATP Challenger 125 event will be played for the first time on the clay courts of the Circolo del Castellazzo.

Organized by Master Group Sport in collaboration with the Emilia-Romagna Region, the tournament was officially presented at Parma City Hall in the presence of local and regional representatives, tournament officials, and event organizers. The main draw will be announced on Saturday afternoon, while qualifying matches will begin on Sunday morning.

Tennis fans can look forward to an impressive field featuring several established names from the ATP Tour. Among the leading contenders is Argentine Camilo Ugo Carabelli, currently ranked No. 57 in the world and fresh from a second-round appearance at Roland Garros. Also competing in Parma will be former world No. 23 Damir Dzumhur of Bosnia and Herzegovina, last year’s finalist Dusan Lajovic of Serbia, and Spain’s Roberto Carballes Baena, a former top-50 player.

Italy will be strongly represented by Francesco Passaro, Marco Cecchinato and Raul Brancaccio, all aiming to secure valuable ATP ranking points and build momentum ahead of the second half of the season.

Previous champions of the Emilia-Romagna Tennis Cup include Croatia’s Borna Coric, France’s Alexandre Muller, the Netherlands’ Jesper De Jong and Spain’s Carlos Taberner.

Strategically positioned between Roland Garros and Wimbledon, the Parma Challenger has established itself as one of Italy’s most significant international tennis events. Supported by the Emilia-Romagna Region, the tournament plays an important role in promoting the area, boosting tourism, and showcasing the region’s ability to host major sporting events.
