The Cincinnati Open drew record crowds in 2026, surpassing 300,000 fans for the first time in tournament history. A total of 300,288 spectators attended the 16-day event, eclipsing the previous record of 285,571 set in 2025.

The tournament set four attendance records this year. The single-day attendance record was established on Saturday, Aug. 15, when 30,479 fans attended. The previous mark was 27,308, set on Wednesday in 2024. Saturday, Aug. 15, also produced a record Day Session attendance of 17,441, surpassing the previous record of 14,452 from Wednesday in 2024. The Night Session record was set on Thursday, Aug. 13, with 13,533 fans, beating the previous mark of 12,572 from Friday in 2015.

“We are very excited to have welcomed over 300,000 fans for the first time,” said Tournament Director Bob Moran. “We were focused on elevating the fan experience in 2026, adding elements such as Community Weekend, Finals Weekend and the Kroger Indoor Fan Zone. The response to those initiatives was fantastic and we look forward to continuing to grow the experience for our fans, players and partners in 2027.”

The Cincinnati Open’s appeal also extended well beyond the local market. Ticket buyers came from all 50 U.S. states and 62 countries in 2026, while 57 percent of fans traveled from outside the Cincinnati area to attend the tournament.

The 2027 Cincinnati Open will be held Aug. 10-22.
