Laver Cup London 2026 welcomed more than 74,000 fans to The O2 across five sessions, attracted 134,697 visitors to its free Fan Zone and reached audiences around the world, generating more than 179 million impressions across Laver Cup’s social and digital channels during tournament week.
The ninth edition of Laver Cup held from September 25-27, marked the event’s first return to a previous host city, four years after its memorable London debut in 2022. An additional 5,350 fans attended Open Practice Day presented by FICO, while the event was broadcast to more than 220 territories through 27 broadcast partners worldwide.
On court, Team Europe claimed its sixth Laver Cup title with a 13-5 victory over Team World, securing Yannick Noah’s first title as captain.
Here are some of the numbers behind Laver Cup London 2026:
ATTENDANCE & FANS
- 74,336 fans attended the five Laver Cup sessions at The O2.
- An additional 5,350 fans attended Laver Cup Open Practice Day presented by FICO, including more than 2,000 young people from schools, tennis programs and youth organisations across London.
- Eight current or former ATP world No.1s were in attendance across Laver Cup London 2026 – Carlos Alcaraz, Roger Federer, Andre Agassi, John McEnroe, Stefan Edberg, Jim Courier, Pat Rafter and Andy Roddick – alongside two-time calendar-year Grand Slam champion Rod Laver.
- 134,697 people visited the free Laver Cup Fan Zone in Peninsula Square from Thursday to Sunday, a 20% increase on Laver Cup San Francisco 2025.
- Open to the public with no Laver Cup ticket required, the 3,130m² four-day Fan Zone featured live coverage of every match on a giant outdoor screen and 24 partner and fan activations, including interactive tennis experiences, food and drink and official Laver Cup merchandise.
- SERVED with Andy Roddick recorded live from the Fan Zone each day, with guests including Andy Murray, John McEnroe, Andre Agassi, Yannick Noah, Pat Rafter and Tim Henman. The podcast generated a total reach of 4.25 million across its platforms and increase of 20% from 2025.
- 56% of attendees were female and 44% male.
- 71% of attendees were from Great Britain, including 32% from Inner London.
- International visitors accounted for 29% of attendees, with ticket buyers travelling from 61 countries.
GLOBAL MEDIA & BROADCAST
- Laver Cup was broadcast to more than 220 territories worldwide, with live match coverage available in all markets through a network of 27 broadcast partners.
- 63 host broadcast cameras captured the action, including coverage of the field of play, team zones, practice court, venue and city aerials, as well as behind-the-scenes access.
- More than 135 broadcast production and technical professionals planned, produced and delivered the global coverage.
- Broadcast innovations included internal and external drone vision, Spidercam, augmented reality graphics, augmented replays and biomechanical data analysis.
- Laver Cup Animated returned for 2026, offering fans an alternative way to experience live matches as on-court action was recreated in real time through animation, driven by more than 100,000 live data points generated during every match.
- The feed featured animated player avatars, replays, dynamic graphics and unique camera perspectives, with the coverage expanded to include doubles matches for the first time at London 2026.
- 155 media from 18 countries were accredited to cover Laver Cup London, including 101 from the United Kingdom.

Tournament week only
- LaverCup.com generated 1.21 million pageviews.
- Laver Cup generated 8.22 million Google Search impressions.
- Fans watched 2,455 hours of Team Europe and Team World Bench Cam coverage on LaverCup.com, up 53% on 2025.
- Laver Cup social media channels gained more than 110,000 new followers during tournament week.
- Laver Cup content generated 12.4 million views on YouTube.
- Laver Cup’s social and digital channels generated more than 179 million impressions, up 44% on 2025, including 100 million impressions on Instagram, and recorded 75 million video views across its channels.
THE O2 & EVENT PRODUCTION
- The O2 became the first venue to host Laver Cup for a second time, following the event’s first visit to London in 2022.
- Ahead of the event, The O2 opened a new backstage room honoring Roger Federer, who made a record 45 sporting appearances at the venue.
- The iconic black Laver Cup match court consisted of 506 modular wood panels, installed overnight by a crew of 10.
- An identical black practice court, made from 289 modular panels, was installed at the Laver Cup practice facility next to The O2.
- 550 litres of Laver Cup’s exclusive black paint were used across the match and practice courts.
- More than 1,100 people were involved in the production of Laver Cup at The O2.
- 2,760 customized seats were constructed to bring fans closer to the court, requiring 14 trucks, 200 ton of steel and a crew of 75 working over three days.
- Laver Cup’s signature Sonic Light and Sound show returned ahead of each session, with an all-LED lighting system featuring 309 automated LED fixtures illuminating the court and audience.
- More than 125 km of lighting and LED cabling was installed throughout The O2.
- A bespoke centre-hung videoboard and on-court LED system incorporated 1,188 panels and more than 47 million pixels across a combined 658 square metres.
- More than 400 pieces of content were displayed across the venue’s LED screens during the event.
ON COURT
- Twelve of the world’s top 22 players competed at Laver Cup London 2026.
- Team Europe claimed its sixth Laver Cup title, defeating Team World 13-5 at The O2.
- Alexander Zverev secured the title for Team Europe for the fourth time, adding London 2026 to his title-clinching victories in Chicago 2018, Geneva 2019 and Boston 2021.
- Zverev, who has been part of all six Team Europe victories, made his record seventh Laver Cup appearance and became the event’s all-time leading points scorer with 26 points, while extending his event record to eight singles wins.
- Yannick Noah claimed his first Laver Cup title as Team Europe Captain, in his second year in the role.
COMMUNITY IMPACT
- Laver Cup partnered with the LTA Tennis Foundation for London 2026, building on the community legacy established when the event was last held in London in 2022.
- More than 2,000 young Londoners from schools, tennis programs and youth organisations attended Open Practice Day presented by FICO as guests of Laver Cup.
- Proceeds from Open Practice Day ticket sales, a fan prize draw and FICO’s commitment to donate £50 for every winner during Laver Cup combined to raise £57,946 for the LTA Tennis Foundation.
- The funds will support the LTA Tennis Foundation’s work to improve lives through tennis, including Rally Together London, the LTA’s three-year partnership with the Mayor of London designed to open up tennis to more young people and communities across the capital.
VIP GUESTS
A host of stars from the worlds of film, music, sport and fashion joined the Laver Cup crowd at The O2 across the weekend.
- Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio watched the action alongside Laver Cup co-founder Roger Federer, while British acting legend Sir Ian McKellen spent time with Rod Laver, the Australian tennis great after whom Laver Cup is named.
- FIFA World Cup winner and Arsenal great Thierry Henry joined two-time Wimbledon champion Sir Andy Murray courtside, while four-time Grammy Award winner Seal performed at Laver Cup Opening Night at Magazine London before taking to the black court for the coin toss during Friday’s opening session.
- Other guests across Laver Cup week included Jon Bon Jovi, Jeff Goldblum, Sacha Baron Cohen, Anna Wintour, James Corden, Romeo Beckham, Dina Asher-Smith, Juan Mata, Moisés Caicedo, Zara and Mike Tindall, Delta Goodrem, Ella Mai, James Norton, Golda Rosheuvel, Alex Pettyfer, Douglas Booth, Lukas Haas, James Righton, and Mark Bonnar alongside Mayor of London Sadiq Khan.
- Federer, Laver, Andy Roddick, John McEnroe and Mary Joe Fernandez were among the tennis greats attending Laver Cup Opening Night, hosted by Gabby Logan.
BEHIND THE SCENES
- More than 1,450 Wilson tennis balls were used during Laver Cup.
- 180 racquets were strung by the Laver Cup on-site stringing team.
- 18 ballkids aged 12–16 were selected from 400 participants at open tryouts in May to form the Laver Cup London Ballkid Team.
- 2,640 UNIQLO items of apparel and 790 pairs of On shoes were worn by Laver Cup staff, ballkids and officials.

Laver Cup heads to Los Angeles for its milestone 10th edition, taking place at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California from September 24-26, 2027.
