HALLE, WESTPHALIA/STARNBERG, October 21, 2026

The player field for the TERRA WORTMANN OPEN 2027 is continuing to take shape, with several leading names from the ATP Tour already confirmed. Headlining the line-up is Germany’s Alexander Zverev, who is on course to finish the year as world No. 1. Felix Auger-Aliassime and Daniil Medvedev have also committed to the grass-court ATP 500 event in Halle. The latest additions are Taylor Fritz and Flavio Cobolli, further strengthening an already impressive international field.

Fritz (ATP No. 13) will be another major attraction in Halle. The US-American, who finished runner-up at last year’s tournament, has established himself among the world’s leading players in recent years. Known for his powerful serve, aggressive playing style and extensive experience on the ATP Tour, Fritz is particularly dangerous on fast surfaces and will once again be among the contenders for the title.

Cobolli (ATP No. 6) has also confirmed his participation. The Italian has made significant progress on the ATP Tour in recent years, establishing himself as a formidable competitor with his dynamic game and fighting spirit. His commitment further underlines the ambition of the TERRA WORTMANN OPEN to offer spectators in Halle a world-class international field.

“We are delighted to have secured two more exciting players in Taylor Fritz and Flavio Cobolli for the TERRA WORTMANN OPEN 2027. Together with Alexander Zverev, Félix Auger-Aliassime and Daniil Medvedev, we already have a strong foundation for an attractive tournament. Our goal is to offer fans in Halle world-class tennis and a special live experience once again in 2027,” said Ralf Weber, Managing Director of OWL Sport & Event GmbH & Co. KG and Tournament Director of the TERRA WORTMANN OPEN.

Sven Wortmann, Managing Director of OWL Sport & Event GmbH & Co. KG, also expressed his excitement about the upcoming edition: “These commitments demonstrate that the TERRA WORTMANN OPEN is an attractive destination for international top players. We want to provide our visitors with an outstanding sporting event year after year while continuously enhancing the overall experience around the Centre Court. With this line-up, we are on a very good path.”
