Aljaz Bedene and Mikhail Kukushkin will compete in Sunday’s singles final of the $150,000 BMW of Dallas Irving Tennis Classic, held at the Four Seasons Resort at Club at Las Colinas.

The 27-year-old Briton advanced to his third straight title match in Texas, saving one match point to defeat ATP NextGen star Andrey Rublev from Russia 1-6, 7-6, 6-2. Bedene withstood 10 aces, hitting seven of his own to secure victory in two hours and 17 minutes.

Kukushkin beat Dustin Brown of Germany 6-4, 6-4. The 29-year-old from Kazakhstan saved all of the four break points, converting two of his own to advance in one hour and 19 minutes.

Bedene and Kukushkin will meet for the first time. The World No. 105 Ljubljana native eyes winning his 12th ATP Challenger career title, his first since Todi 2015. Kukushkin wants to claim his 14th ATP Challenger trophy, his first since Moscow last year.

Ahead of the singles final, top seeds Oliver Marach from Austria and Frenchman Fabrice Martin will take on Marcus Daniell of New Zealand and Marcelo Demoliner from Brazil for the doubles title.
