The great run of Canadian teenager Felix Auger-Aliassime contiunes at the €64,000 LV Copa Sevilla. The 17-year-old from Montréal rallied past fifth seed Filip Krajinovic of Serbia 3-6, 7-6, 6-3 on Friday evening at the Real Club Betis.

After a slow start, Auger-Aliassime fired 14 aces, winning 76 per cent of his first service points to reach his second ATP Challenger final after two hours and eight minutes. In June, the World No. 226 captured his maiden title in Lyon.

Auger-Aliassime will face Inigo Cervantes. The Spaniard beat 18-year-old Frenchman Corentin Moutet 6-2, 6-2. Cervantes didn’t face a break point, converting four of his own to secure victory after one hour and 17 minutes. The 27-year-old is looking to win his first title since 2015. Cervantes and Auger-Aliassime will meet for the first time.

Later in the evening, Cervantes teamed up with Argentine Pedro Cachín to capture the doubles title. The tandem fought past Ivan Gakhov from Russian and Spaniard David Vega Hernandez 7-6, 3-6, 10-5 to finish the encounter after one hour and 29 minutes.
