Kevin Krawietz is the champion of the sixth edition of the Djerba Open, the ninth men’s $15,000 ITF Pro Circuit event held on Tunisian soil this season. In Sunday’s singles final at Hotel Djerba Sun Club, the No. 3 seed of Germany defeated Gianni Mina from France 6-2, 6-1.
By lifting his fourth ITF Futures title, his first since 2012, Krawietz earns $2,160 in prize money as well as 18 ATP ranking points.
Krawietz also clinched the doubles title alongside Alexander Vasilenko of Russia. The pair rallied past the all-French-combination of Florent Diep and Jonathan Kanar 6-7, 6-3, 10-8. The encounter lasted one hour and 44 minutes.
