Tennis Canada announced Tuesday that individual tickets for the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas World Group play-off tie in Toronto will go on sale Wednesday August 22. The tie, which will be played at Coca-Cola Coliseum, will see Canada take on the Netherlands with the winner earning a place in the higher group for 2019. Tickets will be available starting at $37.50.

“The team is excited to play in Toronto and we plan on taking advantage of our home court,” said Frank Dancevic, captain of the Canadian Davis Cup team. “We have been part of World Group for seven years now and our goal is to win this tie so that we have the chance to compete for the Davis Cup title in 2019 under the new formula that will be implemented starting next year. We will need the support of our incredible Canadian fans and we hope they come out in big numbers.”

Dancevic will choose the members of his team for this tie at a later date. Many players have defended their country’s colours in recent years including Daniel Nestor, Peter Polansky, Vasek Pospisil, Milos Raonic, Adil Shamasdin, Brayden Schnur, and Denis Shapovalov.
