Top seed Martin Klizan leads the quarterfinals line-up at the Torneo Città di Como. The World No. 72 from Slovakia will face Viktor Galovic of Croatia at the €43,000 ATP Challenger clay-court event on Friday.

Juan-Ignacio Londero is the second seeded player left in the singles main draw. The tournament’s No. 5 defeated Dustin Brown of Germany on Thursday afternoon 7-5, 6-2. Londero saved all three break points he faced, capitalizing on three of his own four chances to prevail after exactly one hour of play. Next up for Londero will be Chile’s Christian Garin, who Tomislav Brkic from Bosnia and Herzegovina 6-4, 6-4.

In the remaining quarterfinal matches at Villa Olmo, Matteo Donati and Filippo Baldi will square off in an all-Italian affair and local favourite Salvatore Caruso will meet Facundo Arguello of Argentina.
