Pauline Parmentier won the Coupe Banque Nationale présentée par IGA held at PEPS de l’Université Laval in Québec City. The No. 8 seed from France defeated US-American qualifier Jessica Pegula 7-5, 6-2 in Sunday’s singles final of the WTA International Event.
Parmentier saved three of the four break points she faced, capitalizing on four of her own chances to secure victory in one hour and 26 minutes.

“It was amazing,” Parmentier said during her post-match interview. “I won two titles this year, it’s just incredible. I’m really, really happy.”
The 32-year-old lifted her fourth WTA career trophy, her second of the season.
