HAMBURG, December 19, 2018

The former German Open Tennis Championships, which is now called Hamburg Open, revealed its new logo as well as the tournament’s official trailer on Wednesday. The logo is based on the match point in the 2018 Hamburg final between Nikoloz Basilashvili and Leonardo Mayer and it will change every year in reference to the final match point.

The ATP 500 event is played on clay courts at the tennis center Am Rothenbaum, which features a retractable roof stadium seating 13,200 spectators, is situated in a wealthy district by the same name. It was established in 1892.

Owned by the German Tennis Federation (DTB) the tournament will be organized by the Reichel Business Group for the first time next year. The Hamburg Open will be held from 20 to 28 July 2019. Ticket pre-sales started last week. For more information, please visit the tournament’s official website.
