Huber Hurkacz is the champion of the 2019 East Hotel Canberra Challenger. The No. 2 seed from Poland fought past the tournament’s No. 4 Ilya Ivashka of Belarus 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 in Saturday’s singles final.

Hurkacz broke his opponent’s serve four times and won 52 per cent of the total points played. The 21-year-old Wroclaw native secured victory after just under two hours of play.
