HALLE, June 13, 2019
Peter Gojowczyk has been awarded the third and final wild card into the main draw of the NOVENTI Open. The 27th edition of the ATP event in Halle/Westphalia will be held from 15 to 23 June 2019.
The 29-year-old German stated that the ATP 500 tournament offers the best possible preparation for the upcoming grass-court season. “It’s always great to play in Halle, it’s a great tournament. I’m really looking forward to my start there,” said Gojowczyk, who is currently ranked World No. 120, but reached a career-high at World No. 39 in June last year. The Munich resident advanced to the quarterfinals in Halle in 2014 and clinched his maiden title on the ATP Tour in Metz two years ago.
Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and German teenager Rudolf Molleker were also granted a wild-card main draw spot.
