LONDON, June 15, 2019 (Press Release)
British teenager Jack Draper has drawn the unpredictable, exciting Russian Alexander Bublik in the first round of qualifying for the Fever-Tree Championships, an LTA summer event, which starts at The Queen’s Club on Saturday.
Bublik is known for his trick-shots, including underarm serves, and so 17-year-old Draper, a Wimbledon boys runner-up last year, will have a lot contend with.
Full Qualifying Draw
Matches will start at 11am, with James Ward, former finalists Ivo Karlovic and Nicolas Mahut, and Australia’s Bernard Tomic all in action.
It is free for spectators to access The Queen’s Club to watch qualifying at the Fever-Tree Championships, limited to 800 people. All visitors to the tournament will be subject to security bag scans.
The singles and doubles main draws will be conducted on Saturday at 12 noon UK, streamed live on the tournament’s Facebook page.
