AUGSBURG, June 19, 2019

Cedrik-Marcel Stebe, Yannick Hanfmann and Maximilian Marterer have joined fellow Germans Rudolf Molleker and Daniel Altmaier in the line-up of the inaugural Schwaben Open. This was announced by organizers of the €46,600 clay-court ATP Challenger event on Wednesday. The tournament will be held on August 5-11 at the TC Augsburg im Siebentischwald.

Former World No. 71 Stebe was plagued with numerous injuries that forced him to skip almost all the action between September 2013 and March 2016. The current World No. 515 in the ATP-Rankings will try to show his full potential on home soil.

“We are pleased to welcome Cedrik-Marcel in Augsburg,” tournament director Dominik Schulz stated in a press release.

“We would like to present top-tennis players from Germany, in particular from Bavaria, to the spectators in Augsburg and the entire region.”
