Nicolas Jarry and Juan Ignacio Londero will compete in Sunday’s singles final of the Swedish Open. No. 5 seed Jarry defeated Federico Delbonis of Argentina 6-3, 6-2 on Saturday afternoon.
The No. 5 seed from Chile struck six aces, winning 74 per cent of his first service points to advance in one hour and four minutes.
Londero fought past 2016 Bastad titlist Albert Ramos-Vinolas of Spain 6-3, 6-4 to reach his second ATP Tour final of the season following his triumph on home soil in Cordoba. The No. 6 seed from Argentina capitalized on three of his four break point opportunities to seal victory in one hour and 21 minutes.
Jarry leads 2-1 in their head-to-head records. The 23-year-old Chilean is bidding for his maiden trophy on the ATP Tour.
