Yasutaka Uchiyama of Japan is the champion of the Road to the Rolex Shanghai Masters ATP Challenger held on hard courts at the Qizhong Forest Tennis Center in Shanghai. The No. 4 seed defeated wild card entry Di Wu of China 6-4, 7-6(4) in Sunday’s singles final.
Uchiyama, who did not drop a set all week, sent down seven aces and won 85 per cent of his first-service points to seal victory in one hour and 17 minutes.

By lifting his fourth trophy on the ATP Challenger Tour, his first of the season, Uchiyama took away from China $10,800 in prize money as well as 90 ATP Ranking points.
On Saturday, Xin Gao and Fajing Sun of China clinched the doubles title. The wild card entries rallied past Marc Polmans and Scott Puodziunas of Australia, winning 2-6, 6-4, 10-7. The encounter lasted one hour and eight minutes.
