Alejandro Davidovich Fokina captured his maiden title on the ATP Challenger Tour by winning the LVII Copa Sevilla. The No. 3 seed from Malaga won the all-Spanish championship match against top seed Jaume Munar on Sunday evening by the score of 2-6, 6-2, 6-2.
In front of packed stands at the Real Club de Tenis Betis, Davidovich Fokina converted five of his 13 break point chances to secure victory in two hours and 23 minutes.

After losing three previous finals in Szczecin last year as well as in Bangkok and in Genova earlier this season, the 20-year-old collected €9,200 in prize money and 90 ATP Ranking points. Davidovich Fokina has reached a new career high at World No. 109 on Monday.
The seventh and final ATP Challenger tournament of the season held on Spanish soil will be held at the Sanchez-Casal Academy in El Prat de Llobregat on 30 September to 6 October.
