Second seed Grigor Dimitrov, a wild card, returns to the Intrum Stockholm Open for the first time since 2017. He will aim to reach his fourth championship match at the ATP 250 event.

The 2013 champion, who also reached the final in 2014 and 2017, is joined by top seed Fabio Fognini, third seed Taylor Fritz and #NextGenATP stars Denis Shapovalov and Casper Ruud in the Swedish capital.

The home crowd will be eager to witness a first Swedish champion since 2004 crowned at this year’s event. Wild cards Elias Ymer and Mikael Ymer will be aiming to end the 15-year wait for a home winner at the Kungliga Tennishallen.

Goffin to play in front of home crowd

Home favourite and second seed David Goffin will make his third appearance at the European Open in Antwerp.

The in-form Cincinnati finalist is joined at his home event by top seed and last year’s runner-up, Gael Monfils, who continued France’s impressive record at the ATP 250 tournament in 2018. In each of the first three editions of the event, there has been French representation in the championship match.

Former champions Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Richard Gasquet also feature in a packed line-up, which includes three-time Grand Slam champions Andy Murray and Stan Wawrinka. Two-time finalist Diego Schwartzman also returns to the only ATP Tour event in Belgium.

Russians to lead Moscow line-up

World No. 4 Daniil Medvedev looks to build on winning his second ATP Masters 1000 crown in Shanghai as the top seed at the VTB Kremlin Cup. Defending champion and fellow Russian Karen Khachanov is the second seed in Moscow.

Third-seeded Croatian Marin Cilic looks to achieve a career milestone of 500 tour-level wins, while Serbian Dusan Lajovic rounds out the top four seeds. Russian Andrey Rublev and #NextGenATP Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic also feature at the ATP 250 event.
