Australian Open 2020 Wildcard Play-off: Smith To Face Purcell In Men’s Final

The men’s final is set for the Australian Open 2020 Wildcard Play-off with Max Purcell (NSW) and John-Patrick Smith (Qld) progressing through to the deciding match.

Alexandra Bozovic (NSW) and Amber Marshall (SA) have also earned a place in the AO 2020 women’s doubles field, after defeating Gabriella Da Silva Fick (NSW) and Olivia Tjandramulia (Qld) 6-2 6-3 in the final on Friday.

Women’s semifinals will take place on Saturday from 11.00 am, with Arina Rodionova (Vic) up against Belinda Woolcock (Vic) and Abbie Myers (NSW) facing Storm Sanders (WA) for a place in the final. Both the men’s and women’s AO Play-off finals will take place from 11.00 am Sunday 15 December.

The December Showdown presented by Kia continues tomorrow with the 16/u and 12/u Australian Championships semifinals, finals will also take place from 9.00 am on Sunday.
