Maxime Janvier and Cem Ilkel will compete in Sunday’s singles title match of the €46,600 Open Quimper Bretagne Occidentale. Janvier fought past fellow Frenchman Mathias Bourgue 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 in the semi-finals.
The No. 5 seed withstood 14 aces from Bourgue and broke his opponent’s serve three times to secure victory in two hours and 14 minutes.
Later on Saturday, Ilkel knocked out No. 3 seed Lukas Lacko from Slovakia 6-3, 6-7(7), 7-6(5). The 24-year-old from Turkey won 80 per cent of his first-service points and 53 of the total points played to prevail after two hours and 23 minutes.

After four triumphs on the ITF Pro Circuit, Ilkel is seeking maiden crown on the ATP Challenger Tour. Janvier could lift his second career trophy, his first since Casablanca 2016. The pair will meet for the fifth time with Ilkel leading 3-1 in their head-to-head record.
In the doubles final Andrey Golubev and Alexandr Nedovyesov from Kazakhstan will face the all-Croatian combination of Ivan Sabanov and Matej Sabanov to kick off Sunday’s action at the Parc des Expositions Quimper.
