As no ATP Tour event is taking place this week, 14 Top 100 players will be in action on the ATP Challenger circuit over the next seven days.
The Oracle Challenger Series – Indian Wells, the prelude to the BNP Paribas Open ATP Masters 1000 event, is led by World No. 43 Ugo Humbert. The 21-year-old Frenchman is hot off the heels of his first career ATP Tour title in Auckland in January and will look to ride that momentum into another early 2020 title in his Oracle Challenger Series debut. After a first-round bye, Humbert will open his campaign in the desert against the winner of the encounter between Kaichi Uchida from Japan and US-American Jack Sock, who entered the main draw by his protected ranking.
The second seed at the $162,480 hard-court event is also from France. Lucas Pouille will start his title bid against either Noah Rubin from the United States and Danilo Petrovic of Serbia. Cameron Norrie from Great Britain and wild card entry Radu Albot of Moldova round out the Top 4 seeds. In doubles action, Alexander Zverev will team with brother Mischa Zverev. The German siblings will take on US-Americans Sebastian Korda and Mitchell Krueger in the first round.

Mannarino top seed in Monterrey
World No. 42 Adrian Mannarino will be the top seed of the Abierto GNP Seguros 2020 held at the Fraccionamiento Club Sonoma Residencial in Monterrey, Mexico. The French veteran will face either Daniel Altmaier of Germany or Harry Bourchier from Australia in the second round.
Felician Lopez leads the bottom half of the singles draw. The No. 2 seed from Spain will take on the winner of the encounter between Julian Lenz from Germany and Australia’s Aleksandar Vukic. Lopez’ compatriot Pablo Andujar and Ricardas Berankis of Lithuania are seeded third and fourth at the hard-court event with a total prize money of $108,320. The winner of the tournament will receive 100 ATP Ranking points.
