Everything is ready for the first all-Slovenia tennis showdown between the country’s best players, divided into an East and West team that will fight for the Pokal Mima Jausovec from Saturday, June 6 to Monday, June 8. The exhibition tournament will be held on clay at the venue of the RCO Lukovica, situated in the eastern part of the Upper Carniola region in Slovenia.

A total of 20 players will step into action. Team East is led by World No. 141 in the ATP Rankings Blaz Rola, who has captured four singles titles on the ATP Challenger Tour, and Polona Hercog, who is currently ranked World No. 45 in the WTA Rankings.
61st ranked Aljaz Bedene will headline Team West. The 30-year-old Ljubljana native is a 12-time champion on the ATP Challenger Tour. Teenager Kaja Juvan will be part of the women’s line-up. The 19-year-old is currently ranked World No. 121 in the WTA Rankings.

Mima Jausovic is a retired female tennis player from the former Yugoslavia, present-day Slovenia. She is most notable for winning the 1977 French Open singles championship in Paris.
