STARNBERG, June 19, 2020
The German Tennis Federation (DTB) announced on Thursday the groups for the intermediate stage of the Tannenhof Resort German Men’s Series. Following an one-week hiatus, the remaining 16 players will be back in action next week.
Cedrik-Marcel Stebe will lead the field at the TennisBase in Oberhaching, Maximilian Marterer will be the top seed in Großhesselohe, Yannick Hanfmann will headline the Versmold draw and Oscar Otte will be the favourite in Neuss.
World No. 34 Jan-Lennard Struff pulled out of the tournament. “The resumption of the ATP Tour in August will shift my planning and focus over the next few weeks. Since the DTB German Pro Series runs until the end of July, I would prefer to withdraw now and give others the opportunity to continue playing. The series is and remains a very good event and a great opportunity for many players to compete again,” said Struff and will be replaced by Yannick Maden.
