Cedrik-Marcel Stebe celebrated his second win in as many matches in the intermediate stage of the Tannenhof Resort German Men’s Series at the TennisBase Oberhaching. The 29-year-old from Muehlacker defeated Daniel Masur 6-3, 6-1 on Wednesday afternoon.
“I played a close match against him four years ago and knew that I need to fully focus to win today. He fights for every ball but I showed a good performance today,” Stebe said.
Sixteen-year-old Max Rehberg also continued his good run of form celebrating a 6-3, 6-2 straight-sets victory over Johannes Haerteis.
“I improved significantly compared to yesterday and carried out my plan very well to put some pressure with my forehand on his backhand,” said Rehberg, who lost his opening match to Daniel Masur on Tuesday.
