Bett1ACES To Be Held With Spectators

BERLIN, June 30, 2020

Good news for all tennis fans in Germany. The bett1ACES in Berlin will not be held behind closed doors. This was announced by the organizers of the tennis exhibition on Tuesday.

The bett1ACES will take place from July 13 to 19, divided into two parts: The first three days will be held on grass inside the Steffi-Graf-Stadium at the venue of the LTTC „Rot-Weiß“ e.V. 800 tickets will go on sale for this event. After one day off, the second tournament will be played on hard court at the Hangar 6 of the Tempelhof Airport. Each day, from July 17 to 19, 200 people will be allowed to attend the event.

Strict health measures will be in place at each event including daily health and temperature checks for all on-site personnel as well as for spectators. Physical distancing rules and public health guidelines for hygiene must be followed. Ahead of the tournament, all players and coaches will be tested for Covid-19.

Andrea Petkovic, Elina SvitolinaKiki BertensPetra Kvitova, Julia Görges and Caroline Garcia will feature the women’s line-up. Dominic Thiem, Jan-Lennard Struff, Nick Kyrgios, Alexander Zverev, Tommy Haas and Jannick Sinner will be the six men to step into action. Matches will be broadcast live on TV.
