HALLE/WESTFALEN, August 4, 2020
Organizers of the International Premier League (IPL) presented by Merkur announced on Tuesday that the following two events of the tournament series, taking place from August 10 to 21, will also be held at the Tennis Club Blau-Weiß Halle in Westphalia, Germany.
“After the ideal start in Halle with perfect conditions for the players, we decided to continue the series here,” founder and organizer Andre Begemann stated in a press release. The Masters Event in week five (from August 24 to 28) is taking place at a venue still to be determined.
The series, launched by Germany’s former Davis Cup player and current World No. 96 in the ATP doubles ranking, will be held between July 27 and August 28. Tickets are available on site at the ticket office. Matches will be played from Monday to Friday. The total prize money is €150,000.

Mischa Zverev of Germany, Alexey Vatutin from Russia, Fanny Stollar of Hungary and German Romy Kölzer were among the winners of the first week.
“Tennis is back. For the players as well as for the spectators,” said World No. 34 Jan-Lennard Struff, who also played the opening week in Halle. “It was just nice to be able to return to this familiar place and play matches. And all of this in an orderly, disciplined framework,” Philipp Kohlschreiber added.
