2020 US Open semi-finalist Alexander Zverev of Germany, three-time Grand Slam champion Andy Murray from Great Britain and Frenchman Gael Monfils have been announced to compete in both tournaments.
“It is great that two ATP tournaments are being held in Cologne in this difficult season. Playing in Germany is always something very special for me, so I would be very happy if as many spectators as possible could be there. I had a very good restart on the tour in New York, and I think that I can take my strong form with me to Cologne,” said Zverev and is looking forward to his home tournaments.
Tournament director will be former professional Barbara Rittner, the current Head of Women’s Tennis of the German Tennis Federation (DTB).
