HAMBURG, October 8, 2020

World No. 62 Lucas Pouille of France leads the entry list of the 2020 Tennis Challenger Hamburg presented by Tannenhof, held indoors at the base of the German Tennis Federation (DTB) in Hamburg-Horn, Germany from October 24 to November 1, 2020. The 26-year-old Frenchman, who reached a career-high ranking at World No. 10 in March 2018, had to undergo a right elbow surgery in July and played his last tournament at the Oracle Challenger Series at Indian Wells in March.

Pouille achieved his best result at a major in 2019 by reaching the Australian Open semi-finals. He has made the quarterfinals at Wimbledon and the U.S. Open but never been beyond the third round at Roland Garros. He has captured five ATP Tour titles and lifted one Challenger trophy, winning on home soil at Bordeaux last year.
