The Serbian superstar will compete at the tournament for the first time since 2007. Djokovic is joined by defending champion Dominic Thiem, who will try to win his second title of the year. Last month, the Austrian claimed his maiden Grand Slam trophy at the US Open.
Other stars competing in Vienna include reigning Nitto ATP Finals titlist Stefanos Tsitsipas, fourth seed Daniil Medvedev, red-hot Russian Andrey Rublev and #NextGenATP Canadians Denis Shapovalov and Felix Auger-Aliassime.

Paire leads the field in Nur-Sultan
Miomir Kecmanovic will attempt to capture his second ATP Tour title of the year at the Astana Open in Nur-Sultan. The #NextGenATP Serbian, who claimed his maiden trophy at last month’s Generali Open in Kitzbühel, is the second seed.
Kecmanovic shares the bottom half of the draw with fourth seed John Millman, two-time Australian Open quarter-finalist Tennys Sandgren and seventh seed Tommy Paul. The top half is headlined by top seed Benoit Paire and countryman Adrian Mannarino. Both Frenchmen are chasing their first trophy of the season.
Sixth seed Alexander Bublik leads home hopes in Kazakhstan. The 23-year-old is bidding to lift his first ATP Tour title after runner-up finishes in Newport and Chengdu last year.
