Guido Andreozzi claimed his third ATP Challenger career title, winning the $75,000 Milex Open at La Bocha in Santo Domingo.
The 24-year-old from Buenos Aires emerged victorious from an-all-Argentine-final on Sunday, as he beat Nicolas Kicker 6-0, 6-4. Andreozzi didn’t face a break point, converting four of his own to prevail in one hour and 13 minutes.
After lifting his first trophy since the San Juan Challenger in 2013, Andreozzi vaulted more than 60 spots to number 172 in the ATP rankings on Monday.
Ariel Behar and Giovanni Lapentti claimed the doubles title, winning 7-5, 6-4 against Jonathan Eysseric and Franko Skugor in one hour and 24 minutes.
