Stefanos Tsitsipas leads the way at the Erste Bank Open, where he will try to win his third ATP Tour title of the season. But the Greek will have his hands full against a loaded field. In the first round, he will play the man who defeated him in Vienna last year: former World No. 3 Grigor Dimitrov.

There are three singles places remaining in the field at the Nitto ATP Finals, and players in the hunt will look to surge in Austria. Matteo Berrettini, the third seed in Vienna, is next in line to qualify. Others including Norwegian Casper Ruud, Pole Hubert Hurkacz, Italian Jannik Sinner and Briton Cameron Norrie are also competing in the ATP 500.

First-round blockbusters are plentiful at the Erste Bank Open, including Tsitsipas against Dimitrov, Hurkacz playing former World No. 1 Andy Murray and Argentine Diego Schwartzman facing Italian Fabio Fognini.

Rublev leads the field in St. Petersburg

Russian Andrey Rublev will try to make his mark on home soil this week as the top seed at the St. Petersburg Open. The home favourite, who recently clinched his place at the Nitto ATP Finals, is the defending champion at this event.

But countryman Aslan Karatsev carries top form into the ATP 250, having lifted his second ATP Tour trophy on Sunday in Moscow. The 28-year-old is the fourth seed this week.

Other players to watch include second seed Denis Shapovalov, a semi-finalist at this tournament last year, Russian standout Karen Khachanov and two seeded Americans: fifth seed Taylor Fritz and eighth seed Sebastian Korda.
